Helene McCardle - VO Artist
Helene’s love of storytelling and performing has been lifelong. Beginning with ballet at age 5 and moving into starring roles in theatre productions in high school, Helene has always loved the arts. She received her BFA in acting from Ithaca College and MFA from the Univ. of Washington. Helene then worked in theatres in Seattle where she earned her Equity card before moving to Los Angeles.
Having worked in TV and Film in shows like Grey’s Anatomy, General Hospital and The Morning Show Helene decided to add audiobooks to her repertoire. She has narrated over a dozen audiobooks ranging from the Sci-Fi series Tales of Nevaeh to biographies and self-help books. She can also be heard on the app Bardeum, voicing the essay "Retiring Becomes Him" about George Washington, written by Pulitzer Prize-winning author Edward J. Larson. Her warm easy-going style coupled with a knack for dialects makes her a great fit for many genres. Her background in theatre helps her to bring characters on the page to life.
In addition to performing Helene loves to travel, is an avid knitter, a big Eagles fan (being originally from Philly) and has two kitties, Merry and Pippin!
